EF5 with Commingled Deployment

Hi,

We are using MVC4 with EF5 for data access on Apprenda 4 platform.  When we deploy the app in “Isolated DB” mode, it works fine. However, if we change it to “Commingled”, it give exception while creating the new records. Attached the sample application to simulate the same. Can you please guide on the same to resolve the issue?

Best Regards,

Hi Chandru,

I created an archive based on your solution and uploaded it as an Isolated Multi-Tenant App. After running the application I am getting a Configuration Error. Can you verify that your solution works and send me the correct archive please?

Best Regards,

Bernie

Hi Bernie,

I'm not able to send the email because of file size. I have re checked my solution it works perfect. I have created the Archive “CrudSample_Archive.zip” and attached the same for your reference.

I have deployed the same in our Apprenda 4 Test server with “Isolated Db” mode. It is working fine without any problem. Note that we have installed Apprenda 4 Express Edition on Windows 2008 R2 with .NET 4.5 and ASP.NET MVC 4 installed.

Note: I have tried deploy the same in Apprenda cloud it gives me the error attached:

I’m not able to see the logs in Apprenda cloud, but below url may help you to debug:

Hi Chandru,

The error you are receiving is a known bug of our platform. We are in the process of testing a fix for it, and will release the updated patch shortly.

With respect to ApprendaCloud, it appears as though you had exceeded your memory quota.

Best Regards,

Bernie

Hi Bernie,

I see a new version of Apprenda is released. Is this bug fix included in the new release so that I can verify the same?

Hi Chandru,

I believe that the fix for this issue was released mid-February.

Could you verify if your application works with the latest version of Apprenda (4.0.3)?

Best Regards,

Bernie
