Access Apprenda Native APIs using Service Call

Hi,

*I would like to know how to access the Apprenda Native APIs like User Context, Tenant Context, Subscription context from my external application (Winforms) which is not hosted on the Apprenda platform. Are there any Native API WCF services exposed to public so that I can add service reference and use it in my desktop application. *

Matt,

I have gone through the Remote API where I need to reference the Apprenda APIs in my remote .NET project.

Suppose If I want to develop remote application in another platform say Java, I couldn’t reference the .NET Apprenda API. So we need to use Apprenda Web Services. So we would like to know are there any Apprenda’s Native Web Services exposed so that I can consume the same in Java application and use Uesr Context, Subscription Context objects.

In that case, Chandru, you want to use our REST authenticate capability to access the platform.  You should then write a WCF service that exposes the TenantContext for you and you can call that WCF service using REST.

See here: http://apprenda.com/blog/general/mobile-development-using-the-apprenda-platform/

The example is a mobile app, but it could just as well be a remote Java application.  The catch is that Apprenda doesn't expose API endpoints for REST, so you'll have to create a RESTful WCF service that wraps the Apprenda API and gives you the functionality you need.
