Enable or Disable Authentication for the SOC

In Apprenda 5.0, the SOC or System Operation Portal became an application deployed on Apprenda with Authorization enabled, meaning that you need to be granted explicit access in order to be able to reach it.

There are times in which you need to enable or disable the authorization check. Here are the steps to do so:

1. Copy the SocAuthorizationModifier.exe (and all of its dependencies) utility from the Apprenda package you downloaded for the installation to the server running the SOC. The utility is located in the ApprendaDownload\Binaries\Tools\SocAuthorizationModifier
2. Double click on the exe.
3. Choose if you are enabling or disabling Authorization.
4. Type the path under which you installed the Apprenda binaries to each machine (usually c:\ApprendaPlatform)
