The Apprenda Platform allows Platform Operators to set a default resource policy and storage quota for guest application components through the System Operations Center. Simply access the Resource Policy Management page under System Configuration and select from the dropdown boxes on the left pane the default policies that you want to assign.
The default resource policies and storage quota will be automatically assigned to guest application components when their developer does not explicitly choose one.
Policy and quota changes for database components will take effect immediately upon assignment. Policy changes for all other components will not take affect until the next deployment of the component and will not affect existing workloads.
